Hi there! Welcome to Real Life With Victoria. I’m very excited to share my personal story with you and how much Jesus has changed my life.

Before I met Him, my life was a mess!! I was carrying a lot of emotional baggage. I was full of every kind of fear you can imagine. Most of my adult years I was depressed, suicidal, and full of shame and sorrow. I became an expert at covering up all that was inside of me as a way of survival. I became so good at it that it became part of my identity that I no longer realized just how broken I was. Until one day all the masks came off. And oh, what a day that was!!

In April of 1997, everything changed! Now, I’m not going to tell you that it was all easy. Especially since I had been walking in the dark for so long that when I accepted Jesus into my heart it was like the lights came on. That’s when my life truly began. He pursued me with such love and acceptance that even though I had to face the reality of where I was, it was necessary to get to where He wanted me to go. Jesus has been pouring His life into me ever since. He has turned my mourning into dancing!! I now walk in His joy, peace, and love.

Now I know that I’m never alone and that He will never leave me nor forsake me. He has proven over and over again His amazing faithfulness. I have never met someone so loving and kind. He’s the most trusting friend I’ve ever had and I’m so grateful for Him.
